Hi everyone! Long time, no see! If you have forgotten Day 1 of this asylum residential facility for people wtih psychological differences challenge, then you may want to refresh your memory before you read.
You've certainly made this asylum a real challenge for yourself! I love the contribution that Flutterby makes, and keeping in the "harder jobs" hack forces Leila to really earn those promotions! I also enjoy seeing the other residents' personalities emerge. Milton, in particular, is really entertaining! I also like seeing Abijheet. He's such a supportive boyfriend! Easy on the eyes, too. ;)
I like the format that you're using for the slides, but for me, also, 80+ is a bit long. :)
Well, the point of challenges is to be challenging, no? ;) I actually didn't know that Flutterby would contribute quite that much, or in quite that way, but it's all good. I was initially worried that everyone seemed too functional, so I'm pleased.
Well, I have to keep in the "harderjobs" hack /now/. If I'd started without it and put it in after things got going, then that's one thing and taking it out would be fair. But since I started with it in, taking it out now would feel like cheating, even if it technically isn't.
Paranoia is a lot of fun to write for Milton. :P And the bit about the rabbits is salvaging one of the only good things about a story I put up on the exchange almost four years ago. Mostly, it was terrible, but the invisible telepathic ninja rabbits was actually pretty good.
Abhijeet is indeed a very supportive boyfriend, and I've always had a thing for Vulcans ever since Mr. Spock. :) (Even if Abhijeet is only half-Vulcan really.) If I have harderjobs in, I figure Leila deserves some sort of compensation.
I've heard it both ways on the length, but I'm thinking that making each update three days would 1. be a better length and 2. be easier to write, with the added benefit of 3. allowing updates to come out more often for my loyal readers. :D
