This is off to a great start! :) I like the group of residents you've assembled: they all have unique appearances and personalities. My favourites are Ivanova Doctor and Flutterby! I've never seen anyone include a cat in this challenge, before.
Ivanova Doctor is kind of hard to write, actually -- I have to keep stopping and looking up wacky psychological stuff for her to say! Including a cat is not technically forbidden, but certainly it will affect my final score (since she can't gain any skill points or anything). When you read Chapter 2 (available now at a LiveJournal near YOU! :P), you'll see how she affects day-to-day operations.
