Aww, poor Nicholas' powers don't seem to be working that great, do they? But it seems that his dancing saved the situation. :)
That's a bummer that the red heart is not appearing. It definitely seems like a glitch that it's not there already.
Ohhh yeah. The sudden wants to fall in love with a sim not present and not seen in an eternity when on a date with a different sim. I suppose it's a way to say it's not such an interesting date, but it's. so. annoying.
Georgiana is, of course, still awesome. Pity about the oddity with FRAPS that caused a lack of pictures. But it sounds like she had fun, she and Paul are pretty cute together, and I bet they're both looking forward to possible points in the home challenge. ;)
Heh, that's funny about Trudy and the cook. Looking forward to seeing where things go from there.
Oh, poor Lavinia, not great luck in romance there!
That sounds like a fun plan with the Greek Houses, although it does take a bunch of sims for a total of four Greek Houses.
Well, it's only fair that aliens should bet *some* powers, even if they're not all mystical magical supernatural in my game. Including resistance to mind-control powers. :P
The glitch with the heart continued after Nicholas moved home, so I just cheated it into place. It absolutely belongs there, especially since he's most definitely straight (I checked that later) and commenced heartfarting and makeout sessions on free will.
The "not a good date" wants are mostly amusing to me (although a bit annoying because I don't *want* Helen to end up with Nicholas now that he's met Vyn), but probably the best example is from before I started documenting. I had a male sim who had somehow acquired a gender preference without my knowing. He was a Family Sim, attracted to blondes, and very much wanted to fall in love. I sent him on date after date with pretty blonde girls with compatible aspirations, and what Wants did he roll? Do Homework, Call Mom, Watch TV... Finally, in frustration, I sent him on a date with a tattooed and pierced blonde guy -- and the Wants were Kiss, Hug, Make Out, Woo Hoo, Fall In Love With, almost as soon as they started the date. I couldn't argue with that, and they were very happy together and were Dmitri's great-grandfathers. :)
Georgiana and Paul are as spontaneously Awesome as Descartes and Abbey! And yes, I bet they are looking forward to earning some points. ;)
Trudy actually has chemistry with Lavinia (because adopted siblings don't count, especially when I didn't break the original family ties), which given Lavinia's current track record is not such a great thing... I intend to keep them properly *sister* sisters, though, no ickiness, because they've been raised as sisters since they were two.
Yeah, that'll take a lot of sims for those Greek Houses, more than I generally enjoy playing. But I've also wanted that kind of setup pretty well since I started playing, so we'll see.
Glad you enjoyed the update! Thanks for reading and commenting! :D
