The wedding looks amazing! So many guests and actual fireworks! I always forget those are in the game. And the rose centrepieces are lovely, I downloaded them recently but have yet to find anywhere to put them...
Love the interior decorating of the apartment block, yay for a bookshop! :D
How did you get all the wood to match so well in Sam and Dante's apartment? I always lose patience with Maxis wood and trying to make things fit together...
Ah, I hadn't thought of that with the Myne doors! I don't have AL either, so I'll use that in future. :)
Ooh, Goldberg has a first name!
Aww Penny and Skye are so sweet, love the storytime bit as well. :)
Frederic and Isaac are still adorable together.
Good idea having a family that tests stuff out, I usually use my simself becuse I don't feel bad if something goes wrong then. :) Chocolate always causes happiness; fact.
Dmitri looked so strange without his eyes! :'( Aw, Trixie and Leonid. :'( I'm going to miss reading about them. But I love Rose and Dmitri's new looks.
Nice G&SL poster! Tamara is still adorable, and lol at the boot juice. :D
Silent Lady is somehow really glamorous all the time.
It worked! :) Now let's see if I can manage it... Well, the fireworks are from the Happy Holiday Stuff pack, which means that they aren't in my game anymore, but they were for a little while. *sigh* It was a good wedding, though, and we will almost certainly never see its like again.
I am firmly in favor of bookshops! Especially proper used bookshops that have a cat or three hanging around. As far as the matching... er, I chose my furniture very carefully? Some of the wood floors that came with Bon Voyage are handy for matching things. If you can't get Eaxis stuff to match, you might try iCad's woods over at MTS. She's recolored EVERYTHING in like twenty different matching shades. I look at those every so often, and sigh, and keep moving on because I really do try to keep my Downloads folder a reasonable size... :(
Yes, Richard Tellerman's character is "Aaron Goldberg." It was in the opening credits of the full episode. ;P Also, although I generally keep real religions out of my stories because I don't want to offend, I've had the characters of Goldberg and Silent Lady kicking around for longer than I've played the Sims, and Goldberg's religion is just a part of his character. I figure "Aaron Goldberg" is a good name, and strongly associated enough with his religion that people can pick up on it without me having to spell it out. Well, that and the occasional words he uses. (I don't know where you stand on religious issues, so I'm trying to be diplomatic, not confusing.)
I was flabbergasted when Skye started reading out loud like that. I think she was reading to herself, really, but it makes a better story for her to be reading to Penny. They really are more like sisters than aunt and niece. *nods*
I put new stuff in my game once a week, right after I back up, and then I usually pop into Amy and Adam's to test it. Not to disparage any Real!Amys I might know, but I'm not too worried about that family. They take care of themselves and are sort of middle-of-the-pack. And I think that if you look up "happiness" in the dictionary, there's just a picture of a chocolate bar... ;)
Frederic+Isaac=adorable, tis true. I'm glad the bachelor challenge worked out like it did, although I know some people were pulling for another contestant. But just look at their hairdos -- it's a match made in hair gel heaven! :P
Dmitri without his eyes is just wrong, which is why I had to go on an emergency downloading mission. Thank goodness for those contacts! I'm going to miss Trixie and Leonid too. :( I would have thought that Leonid would have lasted longer, since he was so much younger than Trixie, but I guess he just couldn't live without her. I left their house until almost last because I knew that was coming up...
Tamara is cool, and I've thought up (and by "thought up," I mean "picked out of a list of possible challenges") something for her to do when she gets a bit older. I'm wondering if I should sent her to Uni or not, since her age means she'd be going alone... Glad you liked the poster! I was thinking about putting it up for download; do you think there would be interest? And could you read the tagline at the bottom? :)
Silent Lady is amazingly cool, and glamorous is just part of the package. Even if only sailors and women-who-are-no-better-than-they-should-be have tataus in the G&SL universe. Thanks for reading and commenting! :D
