esme's Rebuilding Diary: Rebuild 5, Entry 1

So here is my promised update on the (yet another) rebuild. So far this week, I have:

1. Built a lot and torn it down three different times.
2. Installed recolors and default replacements (I hate how certain Maxis shirts don't meet up with the waistband of Maxis pants, and there are some outfits I've never ever used so I may as well replace 'em)
3. Written 7/8 of a new episode of Goldberg & Silent Lady, so that I know what shots I need to take in the old 'hood before I fry it
4. Staged 7 out of 8 shots for the episode of G&SL I need to finish the next AiP chapter
5. Downloaded the item I need to stage the last one
6. Spent over an hour swearing at and fighting with both Open Office and Libre Office, both of which decided to erase all the pictures from the next chapter of AiP multiple times over
7. Purchased and downloaded a legit copy of Microsoft Office, which for as much as it cost better not erase anything

I know it's not a lot, but it's what I've done. I'll check in again soon -- it keeps me honest!
